The Hood...

What do you think? I'm not sure I;m totally in love with all the character lines on the hood. I would be interested in knowing if there are aerodynamic improvements or something...

it also reminds me of the Stingray...

Its pretty hard to get a hold of what exactly it will look like on the Camaro with it just being the hood and nothing else. Biggest thing I notice is the rise in the middle of the hood, which should make for an aggressive looking vehicle.

I can already see outrage coming from vette owners complaining about how many design related things the Camaro shares with the vette. On the other hand I love what we're seeing here, even with the tail light setup which seems to feature cues seen on Chevys flagship.

Would you say all the character lines are mainly for looks or do they have a lot more meaning to do with function and aerodynamics? It does look cool thought. Definitely not your ordinary hood.

a combination of both.
Design has to define what a vehicle is and how it represents a car and brand and how it stays in line with that brand.

The 6th Gen taillights will look like the ugly taillights on the impala. GM seems to be messing up their cars except the Cadillac cars and Corvette too me.

horrible strategy for everything not Cadillac but good for Cadillac as it makes them look even better.

at least aside from that, there's a ton of things that will make the next camaro interesting.

Why do you think the tail lights are terrible? We haven't even seen those in a teaser yet.
