Front License Plate

CA requires a front license plate. Where would one put it without ruining the beautiful grill? I've seen hide a plate but it's $150!!!

You can put it to the side on the black lower grille. That seems the most out of the way place.

Something like this:

I'm pretty sure there's a cheap manual version of this so you don't have to go with american muscle.

If you plan on using it in winter, the manual function version will be better, at least that way you won't have to worry about the mechanical part becoming comprimised and you wasting $150. Plus it'll take you about a couple minutes more to do.

It will probably come with it installed. I'm guessing the middle of the bumper. That's where my 2012 is located. It fits the contour of the bumper and will not fit anywhere else. I believe if your car is bought in a state requiring a front plate, it will come with it even though there is a charge. Might want to check with dealer to see if it's factory or dealer installed and if you are thinking about an alternative mount, ask the dealer not to install it.

I'm fine with factory placement as long as no additional holes are drilled into the bumper for the license plate. It would be a sin to mar the front bumper.

try Phastek Performance, that have that mounts under the splitter and can be
removed in seconds by a small quick pin
