The more I look at this car the more it looks corvette-like. The back tail lights are a smaller version of the large horizontal vette look. And from the front you see larger rear wheel wells which also emulate the vette.

I sure would like to hear from GM about the fate of the ZL1/Z28 models.

I must say though the right color and rims sure can make or break one's interest in a particular car. This yellow on black rims set-up on the SS looks really muscular-like. I'm impressed.

I'd like to know where is this car today? Who has it and are they still running tests on it or are these obscure sightings just a marketing ploy by GM?

Beautiful.

Love how it sounds in that low RPM range, now we need to hear how she sounds when opened up!

This lighter, tighter Camaro series would be one awesome machine in a Z28 skin with the 7.0L engine.

Indeed, being lighter and more nimble with still a potent power will take it a long way.

Well put Thesix.

I wish GM would just come out and apprise we potential Camaro buyers what GM has in store in the Camaro line-up. I know this is all marketing in progress but just lay it all out. What is forthcoming in this series of GM cars in the near future? What model types will be available and when.

Such a mind set could "steal" from immediate 6th generation Camaro sales when the car becomes available but whether it's now or later the end game for GM is to sell these new vehicles. Keeping the buyers informed (to me anyway) is a more respectable manner then keeping people in the dark.

We're going to get all that in November at the LA show. I'm betting we see the new Zed there as well. Did you see what Ford did with the mustang, Radio silence from January until June...
